Texan Legacy High School Scholarship
Character. Opportunity. A Stronger Future.
The Texan Legacy High School Scholarship invests in Weatherford High School seniors with character, commitment, and potential. Tell us your story, your goals, and how a scholarship could help you take the next step. Selection considers your individual situation without requiring a calculation of education costs, available aid, or a remaining funding gap.
Award amounts, deadlines, available funding, and final cycle rules have not been announced. You may submit preliminary responses below. Submission does not guarantee eligibility, selection, funding, or a response time.
Proposed eligibility
- Be a graduating Weatherford High School senior in the award cycle announced by Texan Legacy Group.
- Plan to enroll in an eligible college or university after graduation; admission may be pending at application, but enrollment must be verified before payment.
- Share your story, your educational goals, and how a scholarship could make a meaningful difference. No income threshold, financial-need documentation, or calculation of costs, existing aid, and a remaining funding gap is required.
- Show integrity, reliability, and contribution through school, work, family responsibilities, volunteering, or community involvement.
- Demonstrate academic effort and readiness for the chosen program. Proposed review has no fixed GPA minimum; grades are considered in context.
- Provide a transcript and one recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, or community mentor if invited to final review.
How applications will be reviewed
Kyle Miller will personally review applicants’ stories and may speak with students to understand their circumstances and goals. He will select recipients based on his assessment of who would benefit most from support, considering character, effort, responsibilities, individual challenges, and educational aspirations. There is no weighted scoring formula or requirement to prove a financial shortfall. Paid work and family caregiving count as meaningful responsibilities.
Final awards depend on available funding and the applicable program rules. Any potential conflict of interest will be addressed before an award is finalized.
What support can cover
Proposed awards support tuition, required fees, books, and required course materials, paid to the school when practical after enrollment verification. Award amounts, number of recipients, deadlines, and renewal terms will be announced for each funded cycle. No automatic renewal is promised.
Weatherford High School is the proposed launch school. This is an independent Texan Legacy Group program; school endorsement or partnership is not implied.
